Enamel Club Goes Online
Enamel is a Heritage Craft which is no longer taught in Schools (except Selkirk High school).
In Sept 2025 I ran a monthly workshop for new enmellers at Rural Arts in Thirsk, this was a 2 hour session once a month to teach basic skills to enable them to become competant basic enamellers. The Enamel club closed in July but it will live on !.
In conjunction with Maddisons of Durham - Enamel Suppliers, we have just filmed the first four lessons.
These are now being edited and will be available to see in Q4 on Maddisons web site to help first time enamelers to learn basic skills.

The finished Enamel Panels have now been fixed in place on the external wall of the hall . The panels were created by children, parents and granparents and show the amazing talents and designs the village created. Its worth a visit to see the talent !.
